On October 12, 2007, a seminar ”Approaches to improving administrative procedures in the Republic of Belarus“ was held.

The representatives of The National Centre of Legislative Activities under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Belarus, of the Secretariat of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, of the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Belarus, of the Ministry of justice of the Republic of Belarus, of the State Property Committee of the Republic of Belarus, of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Latvia, of local executive and administrative bodies, of The International Finance Corporation, of scientific institutions took part in the seminar.

During the seminar, a report on the results of the sociological survey ”Improving Administrative Procedures“ was heard, the draft Law of the Republic of Belarus ”On the Basics of Administrative Procedures“ was discussed, reports of participants were heard, discussions in small groups were held, the proposals for inclusion in this project were developed.
