The interaction of the Centre with the International Organization  for Migration is realized through participation in the joint project (program) of international technical assistance “Increase of potential of the Republic of Belarus in the field of management of migration processes (MIGRABEL)” (approved by the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus from 29 June 2007 № 851).

The deputy director of the Centre Panfiorova L.A. ranks among the members of Managing Council of the above project, the head of Department of international law Startseva E.P. belongs to the working group on its implementation.

The project aims at modernization of the Belarussian system of delivery of machine-readable travel papers (MRTP) with the purpose to bring the procedure as regards documents (passport, visa and identity papers) to conformity with European and international standards.
