On 9 December 2005 an international seminar ”Forecasting the Consequences of the Adoption (Edition) of Regulatory Legal Acts and Analysis of Law Enforcement Practices as a Direction for Improving the Effectiveness of the rule-making process“ was held in Minsk.
The seminar was organized by The National Centre of Legislative Activities under the Auspices of the President of the Republic of Belarus in conjunction with the United Nations Development Program. The seminar was attended by representatives of state bodies, scientific and other organizations of the Republic of Belarus, the United Nations Development Program in the Republic of Belarus, as well as foreign experts – the deputy head of the analytical support of the legislative activity of the Legal Department of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, A. G. Gurinovich and the President of the European Association for Legislation – Ulrich Karpen.
