On October 30, 2008 in Gomel, the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus in cooperation with the United Nations Development Program held a training seminar on ”Improving Administrative Procedures for Citizens, Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs.“

At the event, participants of the training seminar were informed of typical violations in the regulation of administrative procedures that had been identified during the inspections conducted with the participation of the National Centre for Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus. Among them were violations committed by the authorized bodies and connected with the determination of the regime and procedure of citizens’ admission organization, with the information stand designing, with the book of comments and proposals using, with documents demanding, required for administrative procedures.

The seminar confirmed the need to organize the exchange of experience between state bodies in order to develop, if necessary, a uniform approach to problems solving.
