On October 8–9, 2008 in Grodno, the National Centre of Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus jointly with the United Nations Development Program held a training seminar on ”Improving Administrative Procedures in the Republic of Belarus and Prospects for Legislative Development“.
The representatives of the National Centre of Legislation and Legal Research of the Republic of Belarus, of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Belarus, of the administration of the Partizansky District of Minsk discussed the most pressing issues in the field of administrative procedures: the legislation improvement, the provision of interaction between government agencies and other organizations, information support for their work and improving the software of information systems.
The participants of the seminar were presented: the Internet section ”Liberalization of administrative procedures“, presentations of administrative procedures in the format of web-pages, as well as booklets for certain administrative procedures. After the speeches, a discussion was held on the problematic issues of administrative procedures regulation in the Republic of Belarus and ways to overcome them.
